Kookaburra Gite Directions
La Redorte is located just off the D610 approximately halfway between
Narbonne and Carcassonne.
If you are travelling by car from Carcassonne Airport you take the
A 61 / E 80 then change onto the D610 at Trebes. ( direction Olonzac
)
The closest airport is Carcassonne ( 30 km ) which has regular flights from the UK and Ireland with Ryanair throughout the year. There is also a shuttle bus which goes into Carcassonne.
Just over 100km’s away is Toulouse airport with flights from British Airways, Flybe, EasyJet and Aer Lingus amongst others.
Montpellier, Perpignan and Nimes airports are all within a 2 hour drive from La Redorte.
The TGV goes to all major towns in France and the closest train stations are Narbonne and Carcassonne. There is also a small station at Lezignan which has the trains coming through from Spain. From there you can catch an overnight train which leaves at around 11pm and will get you to Paris at 6am. Not bad considering this station is a 20 minute drive from La Redorte
If you do not have a car or are unable to drive, there is also a daily bus service from La Redorte to Carcassonne and La Redorte also has a reliable taxi service.
