Facilities

Light, spacious and tastefully renovated, Kookaburra Gite would ideally suit either a family of four, or two couples, although it is also suitable for two. The thoughtful layout of rooms allows for privacy especially if the adults want some time on their own!

 

All linen and bath towels are provided but we do ask that you bring your own swimming and beach towels. In case you are travelling in the cooler months Kookaburra Gite has central heating and there are extra woollen blankets in the bedrooms.

 

With its central location and comfort, Kookaburra Gite is the ideal place to spend some time enjoying and experiencing the French way of life.

   Separate dining room which seats 6.

   Separate lounge room leading off hallway to allow privacy for those who want to sit quietly and read or watch T.V.
General:
   Central heating. All linen, hand and bath towels provided. Extra blankets provided. Please bring your own beach and swimming towels.
Laundry:
   Off the hallway there is a small laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, pegs and laundry basket. There is space to hang washing outside in the garden.
Entertainment:
   Satellite T.V. video and DVD player, radio/CD player. Also some children’s toys and games. The area has an abundance of organised festivals, food and clothes markets and other activities, all well advertised in the local paper, newsagents and at the tourist office.
Outside:
   Terrace at the front of the house. Kookaburra has it’s own garden downstairs accessed by stairs at the side of the house leading off the terrace. Outdoor furniture and BBQ available for guests. Parking spaces available outside the house.
Suitability:
   Children welcome. Suitable for elderly guests on road level with terrace but steps leading down to garden may be difficult. Sorry, no pets / no smoking.
Situation:
   The situation of this property is ideal for experiencing French life, exploring the Canal du Midi which runs right through La Redorte and enjoying all that the surrounding area has to offer.
